Initially brought in by the CIO’s second in command, Konvergent has helped mature BT’s enterprise architecture function from being a reactionary technology organisation into one that adds real strategic value to the business.
During this time, Konvergent has successfully completed over 30 assignments across all architecture disciplines and is considered the go-to organisation for strategic architecture across BT.

Konvergent has worked with Vodafone since our formation in 2015. During that time, we’ve completed several projects at the more technical end of architecture – from security vendor assessments to the development of a companywide big data implementation.
However, our most impressive achievement for them to date was the development of their strategic cloud platform.
The Group Head of Infrastructure and Cloud at Vodafone engaged Konvergent to help deliver a consolidated cloud strategy suitable for the 27 operating companies in the group.
Once the strategy had gained approval from the Vodafone Group board, Konvergent engaged with our network of highly skilled architects. We then quickly assembled an interim project team to deliver the architecture for the MVP. Channel 4 was working on a programme to replace a key application. In a story familiar to many organisations, the project had dragged on far too long. Many of the proposed solutions had already seen multiple incarnations.
The broadcaster was determined that this latest version should be the one that landed. So, Konvergent were given a critical role in the development of software assurance and project assurance along with the governance of third-party developers.
The work that Konvergent did to put in all the processes and templates for the software assurance was critical to the eventual replacement of the system going live.
